You tell me what myspace and facebook is yourself .... along with youtube, flickr and all the other ones out there that "share" stuff and maybe meet old friends or new people along the way 
I'm not shutting nothing down ... this place is here to stay and AS IS 
To answer your question .. The software was originally designed for dating but has been compiled to what it is now ... and one major reason im doing what i did with it ... its a little bit of everything all in one 
As any place YOU go to its all what YOU want to make out of it
The game plan is to have the same type of site but FASTER .... i cant stand how SLOW facebook and myspace is getting  |

Ok... just asking. I like this place just fine and I am kind of getting tired of always moving, I think that may have played a part in the downfall of another certain site. (We wont even get into the short lived "offshoot" of a dating site)

I know exactly what you mean on the "moving" part and is why it took over a year to upgrade into the Platinum version of PHP-Nuke ... i could have dumped it all and said hey. you gotta sign up again ...the addy wouldnt have changed but everything (threads, posts, mail, links, downloads ect) would have been gone ... and i didnt want that. I managed to bring everything over right down to your avs & siggys!

Anyway ... by your reply i dont see you signing up anytime soon but im the same way .. i think im the last person to sign up to those new "popular" sites EVERYONE is going to .... even pof ... its been a little over a year there for me and not even that for myspace and facebook. They are kewl and all but damn they sure can piss me off on how slow they are!

I was late to sign up here so I must have missed or didn't notice that change over. I have not and probably will not bother with my space... and unless I get real lonely here, I am quite content as is. |

lol it hasnt even been a month since the upgrade ... the old site still stands and it was on Jan 22nd i made my last post there which came over to here during wee hours in the morning so there wasnt much down time.
