it's a rebuild I've had almost 5 years.

backup / reformat / reinstall with your fossil then ... maybe run a spyware and registry cleaner first to see what happens, the newer web apps are killing your pc i bet, they're all web based ... new software has always forced pc upgrades / replacements. probably cheaper to buy a new used system with more balls lol than upgrading your old components. What do you run for protection? If you tell me norton i will say LOL, dump it .. if you say mcaffe i will say LOL dump it. Your turn

avast, and I have a couple other things like spybot search and destroy
honestly I am "computer illiterate" I don't have any way to make a disc for backup, I don't have the discs for my OS, I don't have a whole lot of external memory... I don't have a clue about reformatting... I will make due while venting every once in a while; unless of course I win the lotto... next time I get money to spare on a ticket that is!
There is a brand spanking new netbook here though... it's supposed to be hiding with Santa 'till Christmas  I don't think it came with an operating system or, anything though.

Notebooks are integrated and proprietary and the software that comes with it is only for a few models of that brand, it wouldnt work. Not to mention its probably on a different partition of the hard drive as a "image" file and its up to the owner to make a backup on cd. Most computers or laptops now dont come with any software cd's like they used to. Sounds like your fucked lol
You would need a non branded package.

Brand = manufacturer; Dell, Compaq, HP, Gateway ect
Branded software = Windows xxx for those computers with their "branding" on the OS. It may be Microshit Windows 7 but it says DELL when you boot up all over it. You buy your own from Walmart and it wont. Understand?
You cant take a Dell cd and put it in a HP! The components are not the same for starters. Quote: |
