Carrie is anmouncing that of this Monday, we will be having an Avatar theme.

1. Every Wednesday I will hear your suggesstions for what the theme should be. I will be picking the theme from your suggesstions. If you choose to have an avatar that matches the theme, you will get 10 flukes.

2.This thread is just for the announcement. There will be another thread in off topic+ to put your suggestions. The thread is for suggestions and any hijacking will result in a warning being issued.

3. By each Thursday or Friday I will announce in the same off topic + thread that the theme is. By Monday you need to have that theme if you are taking place. Feel free to put your avatar up before then. Putting it up after Monday does not allow you to win flukes.

4. If your theme is picked, you get an extra 10 flukes. The person with the best avatar theme wins an extra 10 flukes. So you have the potential to win 3o flukes.

5. The avatar theme will change when I announce it on Thursdays and Fridays.

These are the rules, they are not changing. You do not have to take part so any bitching in the thread just to bitch about not liking it and you will get a warning for hijacking the thread.

Great! If you want to put in an idea for what this Monday's avatar should be, just post it in the off topic thread for it. You have until about midnight tonight to get your idea in.

Ok this has changed a little bit because there is an area for contests now and i have revamped the rules of that forum to pretty much match the original rules, plus the stakes are higher and the bot holds all flukes from members that participate. I still think this is a good place to announce certain things that are theme related though. (winner of the week, theme for next week ect)

Also, all comments and suggestions should be made here by anyone that wants to help improve the weekly avatar theme.

I'm a little confussed at the moment as to which day we should change our avatars (currently mondays?)

But winners are announced on? Some of you have already changed your avs and its not monday yet? lol

Maybe its me but i think we need a little more fine tuning so there is no confusion on the days we do what.

I was kind of thinking the weekends should be free choice, I had the pic I took up and then switched to the up coming theme last night.

Maybe if we post our theme entry av in the contest thread then people will be able to still see it when they choose the one they liked best... on the week ends.

If we post our theme pic in the contest voting thread then everyone will be able to see it still and, we can use any av we like on the weekends.
